Postdoc opportunity

There is a Postdoc opportunity in my research lab for an exciting robotics project in collaboration with an industrial partner. This position involves the development (as well as experimentation) of Advanced Control and Trajectory Optimization using Machine Learning techniques for an advanced mobile robot manipulator.  In addition to work with the industrial partner, a successful candidate is expected to publish the results of their work in high-quality journals.

Strong background in robotics and programming are required for this position. Candidates with strong background in control and optimization are encouraged to apply. It is also expected that applicants have a strong publication record.

After a careful review of all the applications, the suitable applicants will be formally interviewed.

M.A.Sc / PhD opportunity

There is an opening in my research lab for M.A.Sc/PhD (fully funded) for an exciting project on mobile manipulator. This project will be in collaboration with an industrial partner. The applicant will be developing novel control algorithm for an advanced mobile manipulator. This project involves both control development and experiments. Candidates with strong background in control are encouraged to apply for this position. Some basic background in robotics will be very helpful but not necessary.
